VIVASTAR®P		5.5 - 7.5	Superdisintegrant with a rapid and high degree of swelling for capsule formulations. Especially for poor water soluble actives.
	EXPLOTAB®	5.5 - 7.5	Superdisintegrant with a rapid and high degree of swelling for capsule formulations. Especially for poor water soluble actives.
VIVASTAR®PSF		5.5 - 7.5	Special grade with very low methanol content. Especially suited for alcohol and moisture sensitive actives.
	EXPLOTAB®CLV	5.5 - 7.5	Special grade with increased number of crosslinkings. Especially suited for wet granulation applications.
	EXPLOTAB® Low PH	3.0 - 5.0	Special grade with low pH value. Complies with Typ (B) Ph. Eur, NF.

Viscous grades which form a gel in water and chloride reduced types (PCF) complying with Japanes food regulations are available on request.

Remark: European Pharmacopoeia contains three monographs for sodium starch glycolate:

• Type A: VIVASTAR®P , EXPLOTAB® and EXPLOTAB®CLV

  Type B: VIVASTAR®Type B (counter type to EXPLOTAB®low pH)

  Type C: These products form a viscous gel in water. They are available on request.
